About Genesee County Criminal History

Genesee County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Office, the 67th District and 7th Circuit courts, Michigan State Police, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Each office answers a different question. This private reference resource organizes those official routes so readers can identify the right portal, phone number, address, or request process before contacting an agency.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan provides several public access routes, but no single Genesee County counter holds the whole story. The Sheriff's Office handles jail and agency records. The 67th District Court keeps misdemeanor matters and the early felony stages, while bound-over felony files continue in the 7th Circuit Court. Michigan State Police operates ICHAT and PSOR, and the Michigan Department of Corrections runs OTIS. We bring the verified contacts, search paths, fees, and request steps for those distinct systems into a clear local reference.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of Genesee County or the State of Michigan. It has no connection to a court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those limits mean:

  • We cannot issue certified court papers, criminal-history records, or other official copies
  • We cannot file set-aside applications, FOIA requests, or court papers for a reader
  • We cannot run an official ICHAT or fingerprint check for anyone
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the originating court, Sheriff's Office, or Michigan State Police can issue or certify its record. This resource can identify the route, but it cannot supply the document.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. They operate their own services, choose their prices, and control their results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. We do not set those charges or determine what the providers return.
